KU Edwards
Campaign Objectives:
- To encourage undergraduate students

to enroll for summer classes at the KU Edwards campus in Kansas City to promote graduating on time. - To increase the KU Edwards campus’ visibility to undergraduate students as a graduate location when they finish their undergrad degree.
Execution:
A personalized email with PURL sent to under graduate students within a 10 mile radius of the KU Edwards campus promoting summer classes at the campus. Students were asked 5 questions about their summer, summer class interest and the best way to contact them. For submitting their information, they would get a free t-shirt. 500 T-shirts were sent out and the other respondents received a free mouse pad. An immediate thank you email was sent once they submitted their answers.
A reminder email was planned, but due to overwhelming response and limited supplies, it was not necessary.
Follow-up personalized emails were sent using answers from the landing page to encourage students to enroll for a summer class.
Another reminder email is planned to go out to the respondents the week before summer classes begin to remind them to enroll.
Results:
825 people submitted responses (9.38% response)
1045 Hit landing page (11.8% response)
1863 people opened email (21.19% opened)*
56% of people that opened email visited the site
373 or 45% of the respondents reported plans to take a summer class at KU Edwards
*opened email counts may not be accurate due to some email service providers not allowing tracking on the opening of emails due to privacy issues, so open rate could be more.
